Licensing

WaddleAI is released under a Limited AGPL-3.0 license with commercial-use restrictions: free for personal and internal use, open to contributions.

Repacking for commercial use — reselling, bundling, or offering as a service — requires an explicit commercial license, with a Contributor Employer Exception for employers of official contributors.

The core gateway, routing pipeline, Assistant, and self-hosted auth are fully usable without a license key; external IdP/SSO is reserved for a higher tier when it ships.
